http://halfireentertainment.com/news-post/dysfunctional-family-drives-working-the-engels/ Individualized Counseling for Adults, Adolescents, Couples and Families. We offer both group and individual outpatient counseling. We draw from a variety of theories and models including: Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, 12 Step Theory, Gentle Teaching, and Choice Theory.
Consultation is a great way for those in the helping, medical and human service fields to expand their own understanding of what might help those we serve.
Others who might benefit from consultation are those contemplating mental health/addiction counseling, or someone who may feel the need for a “second opinion.” Anyone engaged in providing support, professional or informal, for those with serious emotional or developmental disabilities may benefit from guidance of a Gentle Teaching perspective.
Professional Consultation is available if you are simply interested in talking to a mental health practitioner about an event, circumstance, experience or problem of your own, a family member or other loved one.
If you are working toward certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, we can meet your supervision needs. We offer flexible scheduling and individualized and group rates.
In The Community
Depending on your individual needs, we may provide support in the community. This might include direct practice in a community setting, referral, care coordination with community partners and advocacy work to help meet your needs.
